What to expect during appointment
Large 12" (Shoulder length) is an own-hair service: our stylists braid the client’s natural hair into larger box braids that sit at shoulder length for a voluminous, bold finish. Appointments for this service are scheduled for 75 MINUTES, which covers consultation and the full installation time allocated on our booking calendar.
Because the service uses only your natural hair, the visible volume and final look depend on your hair’s length, density, and texture. During the consultation we set expectations about braid thickness, part placement and overall shape so the finished style balances bold volume with comfortable wear.
Styling and day-to-day care
Shoulder-length large braids simplify daily styling because the length is easy to manage for quick updos or letting them hang loose. In Los Angeles’s warm, dry climate, you may find lighter daily maintenance compared with longer styles; however, routine gentle care at the scalp and periodic refreshing keep the style looking intentional and neat.
This look is well suited to event days in Hollywood—pre-show touch-ups, photos, and quick styling transitions are common. If you work evening or weekend shifts in entertainment or hospitality, ask about late or weekend booking options so your style is event-ready when needed.

The 75 MINUTES appointment length makes this style a practical stop before or after commutes, errands on Hollywood Boulevard, or meetings in the nearby neighborhoods we serve.
Summer months (Jun, Jul, Aug) are our busiest for shoulder-length looks, driven by travel and back-to-school demand. If you need a specific appointment time for a show or an evening event, book early; weekend and evening slots fill especially fast during that season.
